Booker T. Washington was a wise man. Here at Diva, we aren't always able to contribute as much as we would like financially to the charities in our community, but Booker T. reminds us that it's just as important to give of ourselves. So, with Mr. Washington's wise words in mind, every quarter Diva Productions produces a PSA (public service announcement) for one of our local non-profits.

This quarter we've turned our attention to the Healthy Families program administered by the Life Management Center of Northwest Florida. Healthy Families is a child abuse prevention program which benefits the children of Bay and Gulf Counties. Child safety and well-being... why wouldn't we do what we could to help?

The program is modeled after the Healthy Families America initiative and locally, the group is required to raise 25% of the program costs to demonstrate community support for the program. So, every year the Life Management Center hosts the Healthy Families Home Tour which showcases some of the beautiful homes in the Panama City/Panama City Beach area to raise funds for the program. This year's tour features several of the lovely Mediterranean style homes in the Finisterre community of Panama City Beach. There's plenty of design inspiration, with standard's like custom built chef's kitchens to the more unusual, theme rooms styled around the owner's favorite sports team.
